Chamber mixed choir “Cantantes” from Belgrade is in existence from year 1996 under different names. The group of amateur singers have gathered together with Miss Vesna Shoutz, conductor and Professor at the University of Arts, Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade and Mr. Ilya Smilyanich, general manager and laid foundation of the choir.
In the last years, the choir took part on many festivals abroad: Slovakia, Poland, Greece, Portugal, Russian Federation, Germany, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Italy, Spain and Slovenia, Srpska Republic, FYR Macedonia and in the country: Negotin, Nis, Prischtina, Budva, Sombor, Belgrade. At all the festivals, choir got many prizes.
Choir has performed with Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, Belgrade Opera Orchestra, Opera’s soloists and instrumentalists. Mixed Chamber Choir “Cantantes” mostly consists of Belgrade University students and the group of amateurs of different professions.At the repertoire of the choir there are spiritual music, composed by Serbian and Russian composers, Armenian and Georgian church, classical music pieces as well as pieces of Serbian traditional and contemporary composers of world music.

Chamber choir "Cantantes" was performing at the festival "XXXIX Days of Mokranjac" 2004 in Negotin.
In 2004, 2005 and 2006 was performing at the festival "Choirs among frescoes" in Belgrade.
In 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 concerts in Russian house "Christmas in Russian house" Belgrade. Concerts in Atrium of National museum and Student cultural center, Belgrade 2005, Serbia etc.
